I have a Nokia E50 Cell phone for almost a year now.
At this page I list the errors that I have encountered:
[edit]
The Cell Phone device
- Calendar can only contain dates from 1 January 1900 and newer. 1899 dates gives an error, even when they are perfectly okay in Outlook.
[edit]
The PC connector software
- Messages (SMS) data when wieving messages in the phone with the PC software. You will see both reciever, sender, date time and the message. When moving the message to the PC you will loose anything but the mobile number and the text-message. Time, date, and names are lost (names are shown instead of phone numbers when messages on the E50 device are viewed with the PC viewver.)

The Outlook synchronisation software
At work I use a bluetooth connection to synchronize my outlook calender and contacts to (and) from my Cell phone. I only synchronize with my company Outlook mailclient no other synchronisation sources are setup.
- Not a good match between outlook phone-number fields and E50 phonenumber fields. (e.g. mobile (work) field do fit with a similar Outlook field, but phone(summerhouse) (a user specified field) does not match with a similar Outlook field, and there are no way to see what "ramdom" field are choosen when migrating this phonenumber to Outlook. So the net result is that the phone "tag" info is lost when moving the data to outlook.
- If some phonenumber field is used in outlook and it is not among the 4 visible numbers it will not be replicated into the E50 device
